The National Guard will pay for College or Trade School

Georgia National Guard Service Cancelable Loan -

The state of Georgia pays 100% tuition directly to the college, university, or school, to all National Guard Soldiers who keep above a 2.0 GPA while training one weekend a month and two weeks a year with the state.

G.I. Bill -

All Georgia Army National Guard Soldiers will receive the G.I. Bill while they are actively enrolled higher education. This benefit is a federal benefit and is available after completing basic training and advanced individual training.

The G.I. Bill is currently $439 monthly (Tax free) for FY23 added to the monthly drill weekend pay, paid directly to the service member.
